EMBL 61 available

Release 61 of the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database is available from
the EBI ftp server:
  ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/embl/release
  ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/embl/release/gcg   (GCG-format)

Release 61 contains 5,303,436 sequences comprising 4,508,169,737
nucleotides, an increase of about 27% over release 60.

NB: There are now 34 EST files (EST1-EST34).
    There are now 12 GSS files (GSS1-GSS12).
    There are now  5 HUM files (HUM1-HUM5).
    There are now  3 HTG files (HTG1-HTG3).

For those who mirror our cumulative update file (cumulative.dat.gz)
containing new and updated sequence data since the last full database
release,  please note  that this will be changed to include only
post-release 61 data at Mon Dec 20 12:00:00 GMT 1999.
