Release 69 of the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database is available from
the EBI ftp servers and other verified mirror sites as follows:

Release 69 is about 8.8GB compressed and 60GB uncompressed.
Release 69 contains 14,366,182 sequences comprising 15,383,451,165
nucleotides, an increase of about 12% over release 68. This release is
already available via EBI's SRS/Blast/Fasta search servers.
Note that there is a new MUS database division, for Mus musculus sequences,
and corresponding est_mus, gss_mus, htg_mus and htg0_mus files are created
for mouse EST, GSS and HTG sequences respectively.
A new file gss_other.dat is created but gss_rod files no longer exist.
There is a new file of plant HTG sequences called htg_pln.dat.

For those who mirror our cumulative update files containing new and updated
sequence data since the last full database release, please note that these
will be changed to include only post-release 68 data at
