Release 73 of the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database is available from
the EBI ftp servers and other verified mirror sites as follows:

Release 73 is about 14.5GB compressed and 91GB uncompressed.

Release 73 contains 20,857,746 sequences comprising 27,903,283,528
nucleotides, an increase of about 20% over release 72. This release is
already available via EBI's SRS/Blast/Fasta search servers.
Over 730,000 cross-references to GO annotation (GOA) have been added to
coding (CDS) features. A new archive of sequence versions is launched
at http://www.ebi.ac.uk/embl/sva/

For those who mirror our cumulative update files containing new and updated
sequence data since the last full database release, please note that these
will be changed to include only post-release 73 data at
