Release 86 of the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database is available from
the EBI ftp servers and other verified mirror sites as follows:

PLEASE try to use these mirror sites for download.
EMBL release consists of the EMBL normal division and whole genome shotgun
(WGS) data. Some useful statistics about this release are provided as
follows:
Total file size: 60.8 GB of compressed files, with 5.4 % increase over
last release.
333 GB of uncompressed files, with 4.1 % increase over
last release.
Division data: 56,469,697 sequences comprising 61,038,435,584 nucleotides,
an increase
of about 7.3 % of number of entries over release 85.
WGS data: 13,313,896 sequences comprising 65,362,911,476 nucleotides,
an increase
of about 10.1 % of number of entries over release 85.

For those who mirror our cumulative update files containing new and updated
