Dear Sir /Madame

Could you help me to obtain some detailed information about the technics used for measuring complex
permittivity of biological liquids (especially blood) in the microwave range?

I should particularly like to know what anticoagulant substances have been used and how to calculate the true
value of the blood complex permittivity from the measured value of the complex permittivity which includes the
contribution of the added substance.

Thank you in advance for any help,
Cristian Goiceanu

A study in Sept. 15 issue of Am. J. Epidemiol. concludes that

"these data do not support the hypothesis that electric blanket use
increases breast cancer risk among women under age 55 years."

This was a case-control study (2,199 case patients under age 55 years and
2,009 controls).

Adjusted odds ratio = 1.01, 95% confidence interval 0.86-1.18).
