Assistant Project/Project Manager
(Hong Kong Based)
This is a valuable opportunity in a global
biopharmaceutical group developing innovative
products. Our product pipeline includes treatment
for cancer and infectious diseases. Successful
candidate will play a pivotal role in the drug
research and development programs and able to bring
the drug from preclinical phase to clinical phase.
Primary responsibilities:
Leads the drug discovery function and to build upon
our strong track record of achievement.
Oversees the development of our strong research
programs and put new entities into the pipeline that
can be further developed into targeted therapeutics
for commercialization.
Should be able to bring vision and scientific depth
to strengthen the effectiveness of drug discovery
within our group of companies.
Familiarity with the latest drug development
activities in the pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical
markets.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Ph.D or MD in discovery research relevant program,
and with at least four years experience in a leading
role within a biotech or pharmaceutical program setup.
Specialization in oncology research is a plus.
Scientists with experience in biotech based R & D,
herbal medicines or natural products development is
desirable, experience in protein expression in
mammalian cell and bacteria system is a plus.
Have a track record of accomplishments in discovery
research with products that have progressed towards
commercialization is a plus.
Self-starting and team-oriented characteristics with
complex problem-solving ability and excellent
influencing skills.
Demonstrated project management ability and prefer to
have industry working experience background , be able
to speak English/Chinese is required.
