The GEMINI project is a cross faculty project between the School of
Computing and the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of
Singapore(NUS).
http://xena1.ddns.comp.nus.edu.sg/microarray/project.htm
This project involves:
1. Development of advance data mining techniques for analyzing
high throughput gene expression datasets
2. Designing of microarray experiments to be performed on tissue
samples from the NUS/NUH Tissues Repository so as to facilitate
the construction of pathways that are involved in the development
of cancer tissues.
3. Development of system that perform integrated mining of
gene expression datasets together with public domain biological
databases.
The project currently have positions available for postdoc
and research assistants. Candidates are expected to have
either a MSc. or Phd. in relevant fields and System development
experience on biological database integration.
Interested candidates should send a CV with the names of three
references to Dr Anthony K. H. Tung (atung at comp.nus.edu.sg).
These positions are open until filled.
