The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute leads the world in genomic research,
with an expanding scientific programme dedicated to understanding gene
function in health & disease.
The Havana group at the Sanger Institute is tasked with the analysis and
annotation of genomic sequence of, amongst others, mouse, human and
zebrafish. We have extensive collaborations internally and externally in
the UK and abroad. One of those is the EUCOMM (European Conditional
Mouse Mutagenesis) project which aims to produce conditional mutants for
most protein coding mouse genes.
