[Employment] Post-doctoral Research Fellowship in Computational Systems Biology at Penn State

A Post-doctoral Research Fellow is sought in the group of Reka Albert
at the Pennsylvania State University to work on Computational Systems
Biology related research problems. The main responsibility of this
position is to develop graph inference, network analysis and dynamic
modeling methods for reconstructing and modeling biological regulatory
networks from partial and indirect knowledge. The two specific focus
areas are: signal transduction in plants and pathogen-immune system
interactions in mammals. More details of the research can be found at:

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in computational biology,
bioinformatics, or a quantitative field such as physics or
mathematics.  Strong analytic skills, proficient computer programming
skills, prior experience in biology and a track record of research
accomplishments are required. Candidates with previous experience in
network science are preferred.
