Molecular Epidemiology Program

Postdoctoral Research Associates in Molecular Genetics

The Molecular Epidemiology Program is conducting research to identify
molecular/genetic markers for chronic idiopathic fatiguing illnesses
such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). This challenging program uses
state of the art molecular tools and multifaceted national and
international collaboration to identify molecular genetic signatures of
CFS. The program seeks one to two Postdoctoral Associates in Molecular
Genetics to participate in genetic association studies based on SNPs and
CNVs at both candidate and genome-wide levels. The program offers
excellent opportunities for multidisciplinary training in the
applications of genomics for biomedical and molecular epidemiology
research. Postdoctoral candidates should have a strong background in
RNA/DNA methodologies, with preference given to candidates with training
in genotyping platforms, statistical genetics and functional genomics
tools. Position is supported by several outstanding Senior Investigators
and Technical Staff, well-equipped laboratories and core facilities.
Annual stipend approximately $45, 000 with health insurance. Send CV
