CompuCyte Corporation, a manufacturer of laser scanning imaging
cytometers for high-content cell-based and tissue analysis in drug
discovery and the life sciences, has job openings available for
Application Scientists and Sales Professionals.
We are seeking an energetic, experienced scientist with a strong
background in cellular biology, molecular biology, and/or cellular
immunology to be a key player in undertaking research analyses and
studies on CompuCyte's laser scanning cytometry instrumentation. This
person will be the scientific "face" of the Company for our customers
and users, developing new applications for our instruments and new
approaches for our users' research. He/she will be expected to
collaborate with users in undertaking, presenting and publishing novel
research. In this capacity, this person will work with key scientists
from leading research institutions and pharmaceutical companies, both
within the US and internationally. This is an excellent opportunity for
a cell biologist to gain experience and exposure to the leading research
institutions and pharmaceutical companies.
In addition, we have opportunities available in the central and western
United States for sales professionals with experience in selling capital
equipment for pharmaceutical and life science research. As the
company's sole representative in the region, the successful candidates
will be responsible for identifying target customers and providing
technical product demonstrations; initiating and closing sales; and
tracking and evaluating market trends and competitive activity.
