Priority One Services is dedicated to the advancement of the Life Sciences by providing highly trained experienced laboratory animal professionals supporting the missions of the federal government, academic, and commercial communities.
We are currently looking for all Senior Level positions to fill positions for a High Containment Integreated Research Facility at Fort Detrick in Frederick, Maryland. Many of the postions require willingness to work in BSL3 and BSL4 facilities.
Positions are CONTINGENT UPON REWARD OF CONTRACT. Very competitive salaries and benefits packages provided. We are recruiting for the following positions:
a) Molecular Biologist & Immunologist: Must possess a BS or higher which includes training and research in Molecular Biology and/or immunology.
b) Electron Microscope Staff: Must possess a BS or higher which includes Biology and Chemistry. Must having training and exp. in processing biological materials for electron Microscopic examination.
c) Cell Culture Staff: Must possess a BS or higher which includes Biology and Cheminstry. Must have exp. w/ maintenance of primary cells and cell culture lines and production of substrate for growth and assay of viral agents.
d) Aerobiologist: Doctorate level degree (MD, PhD, DVM). Must have postdoct experience in molecular biology and immunology, electron microscopy, and cell culture. Willing to work in BSL3 and BSL4 conditions.
e) Virologist: Must possess Doctorate level degree (MD, PhD, DVM) and postdoct experience in animal virology.
f) Virology Contract Staff: Must have a BS or higher in biology, chemistry or physics. Willing to work in BSL3 and BSL4 conditions.
g) Bacteriologist: Must possess Doctorate level degree (MD, PhD, DVM) and a postdoct exp. in bacteriology.
h) Veterinary Pathologist: Board Certified Vet. Pathologist: Provide pathology services to include necropsy, grsoss & microscopic examination, histology, immuno-histochemistry, experimental design, interpretation & collaboration in studies involving lab animals.
