Leading Clinical Laboratory is seeking Vice President for its Oncology
Division to be accountable for operations policies, practices, and attainment of
division operating goals. Based in Connecticut, this role oversees multiple
sites throughout the nation, and requires aggressive leadership in
supporting overall financial and business planning, as well as partnership with
sales teams assisting in new business growth and client retention.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, this individual will
create, review, and approve plans for the control of metrics, labor and material
efficiency, prepare schedules, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion
of work, be accountable for coaching, development and overall performance
management of subordinates, review and set the budget, and forecast to ensure
effective operations and optimum profitability. In addition, will
establish and maintain effective client, customer and field relationships in a
highly collaborative manner, participate in acquisitions, and be a "subject
matter expert" in operations
Minimum Bachelor's Degree, preferably MBA and 10+ years related experience
is required for this opportunity. Background should be from clinical AP
(Anatomic Pathology) management. Must have experience managing multi-site,
multi-state operations as well as significant P&L, and accurately analyzing
data.
It is essential that this individual be comfortable managing through the
controls of a large corporate setting and be flexible and competent in dealing
with restrictions and challenges while observing/assessing and then
implementing necessary changes to improve revenues.
This opportunity is offering a base salary in the $170-220K range plus
