Title: Laboratory Information Systems Operator
Environment: Medical Laboratory Facility
Location: North Carolina, (Hickory Area)

Duties:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and validate LIS software / hardware.
Workflow / process design, implementation, interface development, testing / monitoring.
Procedure writing, lead teams, participate in projects, process documentation, interact with internal /external customers.
Position Requires
Weekend on-call rotation and on-site coverage of the Laboratory during scheduled and unscheduled information system downtime. Attention to detail, ability to multi – task.
Education:
BS MT or equivalent or a Bachelor's in Information Technology.
Mandatory Experience
Laboratory Information Systems, 1 – 2 years.
Preferred Experience
Experience as a Transfusion Services LIS operator or a minimum of one year of experience in Laboratory Transfusion Services preferred.
