Shusaku Yamamoto seeks entry level Biotechnology Patent Specialists
(min. 3 year contract with option to renew) to join our growing
Osaka-based life sciences patent practice. Candidates will be working
with and learning from the best in biotechnology, making this an
exciting and bright opportunity.

edge technologies quickly, and be prepared to explain or summarize them
in written form. Self-directed candidates must possess excellent
attention to detail and the ability to describe technology in a concise
and vividly descriptive fashion. Successful candidates will work closely
with clients & lawyers in support of international patent prosecution,
litigation, licensing and counseling matters.

Candidates must possess Master’s or PhD degrees in BIOCHEMISTRY,
IMMUNOLOGY, MOLECULAR BIOLOGY or any LIFE SCIENCES subject. Must have
flawless English skills to clearly express complex scientific concepts.
Proficiency in Japanese is NOT required.

Training in international patent law & practice will be provided.
Employer will sponsor Japanese work visa. Competitive compensation and
benefits commensurate with demonstrated merit. Annual home passage
allowance. Housing and relocation costs to Osaka are reimbursed.
