Our Client is a leading reference laboratory providing state-of-the-art
diagnostic oncology services including comprehensive cancer-testing.
Currently they are seeking a Flow Cytometry Manager to oversee third-shift
lab operations based in Nashville, TN.. assigning, testing & reviewing
employee work Flow Cytometry, Histology & Accessioning Departments.
Accountabilities will include:
. Providing day-to-day supervision of testing personnel & being
accessible to testing personnel to resolve technical problems in accordance
with established policies & procedures.
. Performing Daily Bench Work Testing will be required.
. Monitoring test analyses & specimen examinations to ensure that
acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.
. Delegating work in the department so that all tests are completed,
results entered & verified in the established time, & the test system is
properly functioning on a daily basis.
. Assisting in training new laboratory personnel, adapting them to
accepted procedures in the laboratory.
Requirements for this role are Bachelors degree w/3+ years of related
laboratory leadership experience. Must meet all State & Local licensing
requirements: TN State Supervisors license or be eligible. & meet CLIA
requirements.
