We are looking for the shortest,but still functional GFP protein. Does someone know, whether one can truncate GFP without loosing activity? If yes, how much truncation is tolerated? (N- or C-terminally or both?) Thanks for all hints - Stefan Wieland, 0761/270-3509 <swieland at ruf.uni-freiburg.de>
