Is there a good way to illuminate yeast colonies expressing the S65T GFP? The cells are brilliantly green under our fluorescence microscope, but the colonies are not fluorescent under a longwave UV lamp. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Stephen Cronin scronin at jeeves.ucsd.edu
