GFP does not need the Val at position 2 to fluoresce.
The second amino-acid in wtGFP is actually Ser: Met.Ser.Lys...
A Val was inserted in EGFP to create the full Kozak consensus
sequence around the ATG: Met.Val.Ser.Lys....
