E.Kandel is absolutely right.
T.Aoki et al.
were treating GFP-protein A with heat and observed the loss of
fluorescence and the electrophoretic migration shift. This means that
their fusion is indeed a success (if one measures a success in
fluorescence AU) but a thermolabile one.
