Dear Erick,

Yes, we have found the same thing in ES cells. We have good rates of
transfection and loads of bright green cells with the original EGFP vector
from Clontech, but much reduced signal (about 90-95% less) in IRES-EGFP
(using the same promoter). We would also welcome any comments.
