Permeability and Paraformaldehyde

Dear GFP guru's,

It seems that when the cell express GFP in the cytoplasm (mammalian
cells), it will leak from the cell even if it has been paraformaldehyzed
(10-30% of the total content, O/N, 4C). I suppose that this phenomenon
is not related to the degradation of GFP (ref. search GFP
paraformaldehyde in FLUORESCENT-PROTEIN LIST).

Could you refer me to a fixation protocol that could prevent this
leaking for 4 to 5 days ? =3D=3D total impermeabilization of the cell ?

Thank you for your help.
