Hi,
we are working quite successfully with all the different GFP4s in
bacteria, now we want to add some different colours, we have tried EBFP
which is working, but the fluorescence is quite low, especially on low
copy plasmids, and the photobleaching is a real problem.
Now we want to try ECFP because of supposedly higher fluorescence and
less photobleaching.
Has anybody worked with ECFP, especially in bacteria, successfully? Or
are there some better EBFP4s or ECFP4s somewhere out there, than those
we can buy from Clontech?
Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.
