Postdoc and postgrad positions.
Applicants are requested for 1 postdoctoral and 2 postgraduate research
positions available from January 1999 for three years to join a group
studying the functional effects of promoter region polymorphisms. The
successful candidates will have expertise in cell culture and transient
transfection, preferably with reporter genes, and preferably with either
GFP or luciferase.
The Department of Psychological Medicine is a large department and
holds an MRC co-operative group grant studying the genetic basis of
neuropsychiatric disorders, of which this research forms part. The
department is well financed and has excellent facilities. We place a
