How to get rid of auto-fluorescence?

Dear collegues,

I am working on the identification of unicellular algae with fluorescent
probes. The problem I have is the sometimes strong autofluorescence of
chlorophyll that irradiates over my probe signals in the epifluorescence
microscope. Has anyone of you an idea of how to get rid of chlorophyll
(chemicals, treatment)? So far I tried Methanol/Ethanol treatment.

If possible send me your answers by e-mail. Thank you for your help!
