The Illumatool Fluorescent Excitation Source is designed to provide a
very bright cool light source for excitation of fluorescent dyes. The
Illumatool Fluorescent Excitation Source comes in two models: LT-9800
with a flexible dual gooseneck and the LT-9850 with ring light. Standard
features common to both models are variable illumination control 0-100%,
wavelength control between 390 nm - 750 nm or 100% white light. These
devices are designed to work with a large assortment of microscopes and
macroscopes. The versatile design allows upgrades of existing equipment
or an affordable solution for a new system. The adaptability of these
systems allows researchers to improve current and create new
applications.
Both the LT-9800 and LT-9850 cost under $2000.
LT-9800: The LT-9800 includes lamp and lamp power supply, flexible dual
gooseneck for Epi lighting, focusing lens to adjust spot size, 480nm or
470nm excitation filter.
LT-9850: The LT-9850 includes lamp and lamp power supply, ring light for
Epi lighting, 480nm or 470nm excitation filter.
Additional excitation filters are available with wavelength and
bandwidth adjustable.
