Post-doc Plant Molecular Biology

2-3 Post-doc positions will be available this summer and fall to investigate
topics in molecular biology and transformation of soybean and cereals.
Selected
candidates will perform gene and promoter isolation, vector constructions,
tissue culture, transformation, and molecular analyses of transgenic crops.
Extensive experience with molecular biology techniques is required, experience
with crop transformation a plus but not essential. The successful candidate(s)
must be able to design and conduct independent experiments with a strong
commitment towards goals. Excellent oral and written communication skills and
an ability to work well in a team-based/collaborative research atmosphere are
essential. Application deadline is July 15th or until positions are filled.
