Stable cell lines with about any GPCR work just fine :-) Personally, I
use beta2-adrenergic receptor which has the disadvantage that it will
internalize upon addition of agonist, but there are other GFP-tagged
GPCRs out there which might be more trafficking-resistant.
OTOH, I remember reading an article in Biochemical Journal some time
ago where the plasma membrane was counterstained by trypan blue
fluorescence. Is there any particular reason that you want to use a
fluorescent protein?
