Sean,
I have been working with a number of GFP fusion proteins in epithelial
cells and some localize to the nucleus and some do not. We have not
investigated things any further on this aspect because we are more
interested in proteins at the brush border of these cells. However, we have
also expressed GFP alone not fused to any specific protein and we get high
levels of cytoplasmic staining. However we also see nuclear staining.
