Entelechon GmbH offers a Green Fluorescent Protein gene with codon
usage adapted to the codon bias of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The new GFP gene has been successfully expressed functionally in
Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. It has a GC content of 61%, thereby
circumventing codon bias problems encountered with the wt-(E)GFP.
This gene is of interest to anyone working with Chlamydomonas, green
algae or lower plants, or any other organism with high GC codon bias.
Detailed information including fluorescence spectra, microphotographs
and descriptions of the available plasmids containing the GFP can be
