Hi all,
after only 350h of operation, the laser unit of our confocal has
ceased functioning. It seems to me that the ignition of the laser
tube is not successful anymore.
The company we bought the whole stuff from states that the whole
laser unit has to be exchanged with is quite costly and claims the
failure to "a bad batch of laser units" from their suppliers.
Is anyone around here facing the same problem and maybe knows of a
cheper remedy than buying a new one?
