Can someone help?
I have transformed an E. coli with pGFPuv vector from Clontech. I am trying
to monitor the growth of this bacterium in real-time. One of the problems I
am having is the background fluorescence of my media. Currently, I am using
LB-broth which fluoresces like crazy. I am not so sure what it is in the
media that fluoresces, I imagine it could be several things. Does anyone
have any suggestions on an alternative media that can be made easily or
better still bought pre-made that has a lower or no background fluorescence?
Any suggestions would be most appreciated
Regards,
Paul
