Hi Paul
You probably have problems with the riboflavin in the media, which produce
much of the autofluorescence in the media I have used (DMEM). In an article
from Zylka & Schnapp in Biotechniques vol. 21, nr. 2 (1996), they use
either riboflavin-free media or UV-fotobleaches the media before adding it
to the cells.
