Hi Martin,
Not really an answer to your question, but we´ve been using the GFP antibody
from Roche (former Boehringer Mannheim; no affiliations!) with great success.
It is a mixture of two monoclonals, and is extremely specific: only one band in
western blots with no especially harsh conditions. If you cannot get the other
antibody to work properly, give this one a try.
