nonfluorescent GFP fusion?

Dear GFP fans,

has anyone ever heard of a protein/peptide that when fused to GFP  PREVENTS  GFP
fluorescence?
(This is not the kind of data people usually like to publish I assume)

I would be very grateful if someone could give me a hint!
