Hi everybody,
I have a question concerning the MolecularProbes-dye IAANS
(iodacetamide-derivative). I have labelled a protein which has a single
cystein. But obviously the dye also attacked the NH2-functions. Which is
the best way to avoid this? My conditions were labelling for 24 hours in
the dark at 37°C with a 20 fold excess of dye.
My 2nd question is, if somebody has experience with the bleaching of
this dye.
Thank You in advance,
