Hi All,

I am doing flow cytometry on a Becktin-Dickinson FACStar and am
looking at a GFP-fusion protein located in mitochondria. I extract
the mt by standard protocol but then do not get very good
fluorescence on the FACS machine. Does anyone have any suggestions ?
Also, what is the PMT values likely to be in FL-1 (FITC channel) to
view the GFP-fusion protein ? I am using HepG2 cells and generally
transfect 1x60mm plate of cells.

Looking forward to a reply.
