Hot way to quantify in vivo translation: grow cells, feed them some
hot amino acid, separate protein from unincorporated label, and count
the counts.
Anyone ever tried a non-radioactive way? Fluorescent? Sensitive enough
to quantify translation during 5 minutes of exponential growth?
