[Genbank-bb] GenBank Update : Unnecessary redistribution of 25 WGS projects

Greetings GenBank Users,

We recently detected a problem causing the unnecessary redistribution
of WGS projects at NCBI's FTP site, between September 8th 2012 and 
September 12th 2012 .

         Files      : wgs.[WGS-Project-Code].*

A total of 25 different WGS projects were affected over the course of those
five days, with some projects being redistributed on each day. The number
of excess distributions and the project codes involved are:

      5 AMCU
      5 ALEG
      5 ALEF
      5 AKGF
      5 AKBD
      4 AMDT
      4 AMCR
      1 CALW
      1 CAIV
      1 AMDV
      1 AMDU
      1 AMCP
      1 AMCD
      1 AMBY
      1 ALYN
      1 ALYK
      1 ALXE
      1 ALXB
      1 ALWQ
      1 ALWO
      1 ALWK
      1 ALQB
      1 ALQA
      1 ALIN

AMDV and AMDU are both gigabase-scale projects, and their redistribution
is what caught our attention. The problem was fixed on the afternoon of
Wednesday, September 12.
