What lymphocyte population does Con A stimulate?

I believe that it is more of an "urban legend".  I have not seen any evidence
in the literature stating that it prefrerentially stimulates either cell type.
I asked someone here at the Nutritional Immunology Lab, USDA-HNRC who is more
knowledgable than I.  He stated the same.
