Hi,
The animal facility in my university currently uses Aspen bedding in
the animal facility. Recently, there has been a proposal to change to Pine
bedding because pine bedding costs half what aspen bedding costs. Before the
change is made, we are interested in knowing if this switch is going to
adversely affect the animals, and thereby the research programs in progress.
I therefore request people who have had any experiences in this regard to send
me mail describing the experiences they have had. I am also interested in
knowing the benefits, if any, of changing from aspen to pine bedding. I have no
direct access to the newsgroups and therefore use the mail-to-news gateway.
Therefore, I request you to send me e.mail to one or both of the following
addresses AS SOON AS POSSIBLE:

	sripad at judy.indstate.edu
	MEGPRASA at thcme.indstate.edu

	Thank you very much.

	Prasad Kulkarni.
