I am a technologist working in the Immunology Unit at Christchurch Hospital in
New Zealand.
We currently test for ANCA using indirect Immunofloresence technique on ethanol
fixed human neutrophils.
We would also like to perform anti-MPO ELISA. In researching for a method, I
have read several papers from which it appears there are a variety of methods
used for each step by many different laboratories.
My initial work has shown problems with non-specific background.
I was hoping somebody may be able to offer some technical advice and/or
recommend a commercially available reference or control serum for
myeloperoxidase.
