I am a neurologist who recently had a patient with myasthenia gravis
and developed heparin induced thrombocytopenia type 2 which is antibody
mediated. We have known for a long time the plasmapharesis is very helpful
for MG and recently have also used Intravenous Immuno-globulin. These two
therapies have also been used for type 2 heparin induced platelet loss.
My question to the forum is whether others have see this phenomenon?
