Hi all!

We are receiving more and more resumes that are not in the
proper format. Since many of you only have newsgroup feeds and
cannot directly access our gopher or www server, here is the resume
posting format for MedSearch America.

Remember that you can reach MedSearch America's gopher by typing -
gopher gopher.medsearch.com 9001
---------------------------------
at your internet prompt if you have gopher services.

Here's our instructions for how to prepare and post your resume on
MedSearch America directly with any Internet Mail access:

How to Prepare and Post your Resume

Please print or copy this document and follow the directions
carefully. This NEW format will help us with faster and more accurate
processing, and will make it easier for employers to find your resume.

** YOUR RESUME WILL APPEAR IN THE MEDSEARCH AMERICA PUBLIC ACCESS DATABASE **
PLEASE CHECK YOUR RESUME ONLINE 48 HOURS AFTER SENDING TO MAKE SURE
IT HAS BEEN PROPERLY CODED AND OTHERWISE APPEARS AS YOU INTENDED.

               CONTACT AND JOB PREFERENCE INFORMATION
               ------------------------------------
1) The information below should APPEAR BEFORE YOUR RESUME or any
other information and ONLY on the TOP LEFT of your first page.
Your name, address, phone, mail info should NOT appear
anywhere else including within your resume.

2) Each line of text should NOT EXCEED 75 characters and spaces across
for your resume to display properly.

4) Do not draw any text boxes around these entries or make any other
formatting that would interfere with the computer properly reading
your contact and job preference information.

  1) Remember that the text SHOULD NOT EXCEED 75 characters across
(characters and spaces), or it will not display as you intend.

  2) DO NOT INCLUDE PERSONAL OR CONTACT INFORMATION in the
body of your resume. Social Security or other Identification
numbers should never appear in a public access area.
Since we do not know if this information was unintentionally
included in the public database, we will exclude those resumes
that have personal information when we find them.

  3) FOR ADDITIONAL PRIVACY, you may want to consider not naming past
employers or providing references. The interested employer will
request this information after you are contacted.

Hint: View your resume in Notepad or Dos Editor to check how it
     will display online.

Leave at least 2 blank lines between RESUME: and the body of your
     resume.

   Sending Your Resume by E-Mail
   - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
                    **IMPORTANT**
MAKE SURE YOU READ AND AGREE TO THE MSA LIMITATION AND
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY BEFORE SENDING YOUR RESUME.

This will be the sentence that the employer first sees when
searching resumes. Use the resume title to sell yourself or
give a summary (in 45 letters and spaces) like:
