I need information on any studies that have been made into the level of
activity of CD4 cells to HIV infection. Specifically, is the response
such that TGF-Beta becomes an inhibitor of growth rather than a
stimulator. I am interested in determining whether people with the
longest life spans after HIV infection might have inhibited cytokine
activity prior to infection.
