We are seeking a Post-doctoral Cellular Immunologist to join a
multidisciplinary team working on the development of safe and
effective vaccines against HIV infection and AIDS research
initiative. The successful candidate will be expected to exploit
our recent successful demonstration of vaccine inducced
protection in model systems and to study the role of cellular
immunity in protection and pathogenesis.
The post is funded by the MRC for 3 years. Applicants for
this challenging position should preferably have experience of
working with cytotoxic T cells and T-helper cells, an interest in
immunodeficiency viruses and the capacity to work independently.
Salary will be on a scale up to #21,460 (Pounds Sterling)
inclusive per annum, depending on previous experience.
