I am interested in the identification of TB. How many weeks must one
culture the cells (start with the sputum sample?) and what concentration
is best? Does one identify Mycobacterium tuberculosis (instead of M.bovis,
for example) by protein analysis? Also, how exactly does one determine if
the TB is drug resistant???
I am an undergraduate working on a final project. Any advice would be great!
