As one of the med students who would be "fleeced," I would much prefer paying
~$30 for a very current, basic text, rather than a ~$100 tome which covers
EVERYTHING. For myself, as I continue into immunology, I personally will want
the most current edition of Paul, but I can't see how a medical student
getting an introduction to the subject could benefit. We use the Abbas book,
which is updated somewhat frequently, and is very affordable. If Janeway can
manage to update his book faster than Abbas (unlikely) that would be
advantageous for a medical school immunology class since it would be current
while still being readable at a basic level. -J
