Perhaps not entirely immunological, but maybe someone could help:

I am currently sectioning and staining lung tissue infected with BCG and
TB, and have been looking at various factors affecting granuloma
formation in the light microscope. My lung sections have been in 10%
formalin, with an acid fast stain for bacilli using carbol fuschin/geimsa
to stain. My sections have been lousy. Any ideas on different fixatives,
stains, etc. to use? Sections have poor integrity, and I'm getting
background staining of ciliated cells in the lung with the primary stain.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!
