Can anyone tell me the difference between 96-well plates that are used for (1)
ELISA and (2) tissue culture? That is, what are they coated with, and how this
affects their characteristics? We are interested in using the 96-well plates
for incubating small organisms, but we need to make sure that the "coating"
will not have any effect on the organisms. Also, the organisms we are
interested in (FYI, they're tapeworm cysticercoids) tend to stick to glass (so
we assume they have a net negative charge on their surface) --- we hope to
prevent this problem by going to the plastic plates. Any information you have
on this would be appreciated.

Since I do not normally read this newsgroup, please send any responses directly
to my e-mail address (pappas.3 at osu.edu).

Thanks again!
